Toyota Industries to start diesel engine manufacturing in India in April 2016–report

To invest USD153.5m to install production line capable of rolling out 108,000 engines annually

Toyota Industries is planning to manufacture diesel automobile engines in India starting in April 2016, reports Nikkei. The company is planning to invest around JPY15bn (USD153.5m, 27 June 2013) to set up a new production line at an existing plant
